I low-key love a little bit of chaos and there's really not a better word to describe extended family photo sessions except for WORTH IT.
17 grand kids? No problem.
Need to accommodate for mobility limitations? No problem.
Sure, things get a little crazy at times but I am a master of flexibility and going with the flow. During extended family sessions we work to capture each family individually and together and create all the desired combinations (ex. cousins, grand kids with grand parents, etc).
