Do I need a Full Session or a Mini Session? | Mesquite, TX Family Photos

There is a time and a place for both, but most often full sessions are the way to go. Here’s why:

There’s more value in a Full Family Session

Get your money’s worth. When you book a session you’re investing in planning your family’s outfits, getting the family ready and in a good mood, and planning your day so that you can all show up on time. You’ll do these SAME things for a mini-session so you might as well make sure you get more time, more images, a more relaxed and fun experience, and ultimately… more memories. That’s what you hired me for, right?

A Relaxed Photo Session Experience

Facilitating a fun laid-back photo session experience is a cornerstone of my business. Believe me, we all need a little time to warm up to being in front of the camera (even me). Give yourself some time to get the jitters out. A little extra time to relax into your session means more time to be and feel like yourself. A longer session means more time creating and capturing authentic moments.

This is especially true for the kids. During a full session there’s no pressure to get the right shot right away… Nothing should be forced or pressured. I always let the kids warm up at their own pace (and of course you know your kiddos better than me) but sometimes they just need more time to warm up to the experience.

A Longer Family Photo Session Gives You More Variety

It’s not just more images in your gallery, it’s more memories. A longer session allows more time to generate genuine expressions. It’s more: snuggling, tickling, hugging, running, picking flowers, and throwing rocks…all the things you normally do together except in front of my camera. When you book a full session, I get more chances to capture the true joy that’s present in your current phase of life.

Also, we can’t forget…Increased image variety allows you flexibility later in how you choose to display and share your images! When you get a full gallery complete with a variety of poses, angles, and expressions the options are endless when it comes time to gift your pictures, design a gallery wall in your home, or create your family's holiday card. Mini sessions are great, but don’t stop there.

Book your Family Photo Session today (you can thank me later)!

P.S. I captured these memories at an incredible shootout experience in Oklahoma with my favorite photography coach, Brittnie!
